About the AZOVA Authorized COVID Testing Network in Costa Rica: AZOVA certifies that testing service providers are licensed and authorized to provide COVID testing in Costa Rica and that the tests that are used are legal for use in Costa Rica and both PCR and rapid antigen tests are accepted for returning to the United States. All testing service providers are able to return PCR and rapid antigen test results within the required 1 calendar day or less before your return flight from Costa Rica. Be sure to schedule your COVID test ahead of time before your trip to assure availability. Choose your location and complete your test registration.

When you schedule a concierge test, one of our testing partners will arrange with you the best time to collect your test sample at a location—including your hotel—of your choice. Cost: The cost of a concierge rapid antigen test is $99 USD + 16% local VAT tax. The cost of a concierge PCR test is $179 USD + 16% local VAT tax.
Online booking is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We recommend you schedule your testing appointment before your trip to assure appointment availability. Check with the scheduling system on AZOVA to see appointment availability in each location.
Do I pay for my test at the time of booking?Yes. Payment is collected at the time of booking. You can pay with any major credit card. AZOVA will be listed as the merchant of record on your credit card statement.
Is the transaction in US dollars or a local currency?The transaction is in US dollars. Because the service is delivered in the local market, there is a VAT tax for the local jurisdiction.
Will there be any foreign transaction fees?If you use a US based credit card, there will be no foreign transaction fee. If you are using an international credit card to purchase your test, there may be a foreign transaction fee depending on the country of origin of your credit card.
What is the refund/cancel policy?If you cancel your trip and do not need to be tested, you must log into your account and cancel your appointment before the scheduled time in order to receive a full refund. Missed appointments or no-shows will not be refunded.
What if I need to reschedule my appointment?You can reschedule your appointment by logging into your account and opening your appointment chart. Click the reschedule button to choose a different appointment time.
