How it Works
Step 1: Your patient purchases a pharmacogenomics test from your own custom branded, telemedicine-integrated pharmacogenomics website.
The cost of the test is $399 to the patient. This includes a telemedicine-based lab order, the OneOme RightMed Test, a lab report, and a pharmacogenomics consultation with you. Also an added bonus! Includes an MTHFR gene analysis FREE OF CHARGE ($199 value!).
Your pharmacogenomics web page is branded to you. Place it on your website, social media, or text it to your patients.
Note: This pharmacogenomics program is in partnership with OneOme Laboratories. This is a cash-based program. We are also working with employers and payers to drive insurance-based pharmacogenomics consultation programs to your pharmacy.
Step 2: Our telemedicine providers order the test electronically.
Step 3: The lab mails the kit to the patient and the patient takes the test at home and returns the kit to the lab. Shipping time is 1-3 days. Lab results are usually ready 3-4 days after the lab receives the kit, but may take up to 7-10 days in some cases.
Step 4: Your patient registers for a consultation with you (via video, telephone or in pharmacy) through the AZOVA platform. Document your consultation and share your recommendations with the patient and their doctor in one click through AZOVA. Once you’ve completed your consultation, AZOVA will pay you $70. It’s super easy and great for your patients.

How long does it take to sign up?It takes only 20 minutes to sign up. Onboarding is automated so you can register completely online without the need for a phone call.
What if I am already a member of the Digital Pharmacy Clinical Services Network on AZOVA?You must register and get trained for each clinical program, but there are no additional fees. Just go ahead and sign up.
What is the cost to the patient for the OneOme RightMed test and what is included?We have created a great value to the patient by combining all the services needed to get a pharmacogenomics test into one affordable price. The price of the test $399 and includes the following:
- A telemedicine provider consultation and electronic lab order.
- Shipping both ways to and from the patient’s home.
- The RightMed Test.
- A shareable electronic lab result with a comprehensive report outlining your patient’s genetics.
- Your consultation.
- An electronic and shareable record of your consultation.
Not at this time. This is a cash-based program, however we are working with employers and commercial payers to offer this program through patient’s insurance in the near future. Either way, you will still get paid $70 for your consultation service.
How long does it take for the lab to ship the test to the patient?The lab ships to and from the patient via a 1-3 day shipping service. Results are reported usually within one week of the lab receiving the kit.
How do I do the consultation with the patient?AZOVA provides an automated appointment registration link to the patient to enable the patient to register for a consult with you. We will collect all the medication history and medical information you will need to provide a thorough review of the patient’s medications relative to the patient’s genetic test results. You will receive a notice via email or SMS any time a patient has registered for a consultation with you. You log in to your AZOVA dashboard and meet with the patient via video, telephone or in the pharmacy. (AZOVA provides telemedicine technology to enable you to do this). Document the consultation and share the chart with the patient’s doctor.
What do I have to document in the consultation?We provide a specific documentation template for you to follow, however you must use your clinical judgement when offering this service. We provide no-cost training and case studies to help you get comfortable with pharmacogenomics consultations. We also provide access to expert pharmacogenomics consultants to help you with any clinical questions at any time.
How and when do I get paid?When you onboard to the network, you will be asked to enter your ACH information. We will use this information to pay you. We pay each month in the first week of the month for consultations that you completed the month before. You must provide your consultation AND mark the chart as “Completed” in order to get paid.
